CEBU – MOALBOAL – SIARGAO
The perfect trip for adventure lovers and thrill seekers coming to the Philippines! We’ll be getting our hearts racing with a day of canyoneering, learning to surf at some of the world’s most beautiful beaches, and of course, snorkelling and island hopping around Siargao!
The Itinerary
Day One: Cebu
Welcome to the Philippines! Relax, settle in, and get to know Cebu. If you’ve forgetting anything or need to get some last minute bits (or just to enjoy the AC ) – we’re located just a 2 minute walk to Cebu Mall. You’ll have the morning to recover from your flight, and tonight we’ll be getting a group dinner to meet your new travel amigos!
Day Two: Cebu
Today we’ll be exploring the churches and temples in Cebu. This is a side to the Philippines that can often be overlooked. We’ll learn about the history and culture of the Philippines from our incredible local guide, and check out the amazing art and architecture on display.
Day Three: Travel to Moalboal
We’re heading to the Islands baby! Get packed up and ready to head to Maolboal, home to some amazing beaches and marine life. After our travel day we’ll have some time to soak in the views, relax at the beach, and enjoy your hotel pool together.
Day Four: Moalboal
Today we’re ticking off an absolute bucket-list experience – the sardine run in Moalboal. We’ll have the opportunity to see hundreds of sardines in their massive shoals, as well as snorkelling with turtles and exotic fish. Afterwards, there is an optional activity to try SCUBA diving at our resort.
Day Five: Moalboal
Get ready to have your heart racing as we go canyoneering in Maolboal! Cliff jumping, gliding down waterfalls, and having some of the best laughs of your life. Get ready for this adrenaline pumping experience, where we’ll also see some of the beautiful waterfalls in Maolboal.
Day Six – Moalboal to Siargao
This morning we’re flying to Siargao island – a surfers paradise! This is an idyllic paradise in the Philippines. It used to be called Islas de las Palmas – so think Palm trees, white sand beaches, and amazing surf. After our flight, we’ll have some down time to check in, explore the island and relax at the beach here.
Day Seven – Siargao
You can’t come to Siargao and not check out the incredible surf scene here! Whether you’re a beginner or a surf pro, we’ll be hitting the waves on our group lessons. We’ll spend the evening enjoying the amazing sunsets that Siargao is famous for and revelling in the pristine beaches here. In the afternoon, relax after your long travel day with a massage, or we can grab a few drinks at one of Siargao’s beach clubs.
Day Eight- Siargao
Island hopping day!! We’ll be exploring some hidden beaches, enjoy amazing views of Siargao, and get a local lunch onboard. Our trip starts at Corregidor Island, a perfect hidden paradise. After a short trek, we’ll reach one of the most beautiful viewpoints surrounding Siargao. Next stop, Naked Island. We’ll relax on the beach sand bar, and cool off in the crystal clear waters.
Day Nine- Siargao
Strap in, today it’s time for our Siargao road trip experience! Yesterday we explored the island from the water, but today we’re heading inland to soak in some of the Island’s best views. Starting at Palm Tree’s viewpoint, then taking in the River beach point, and wrapping things up with a swim in some stunning rock pools.
We’ll be stopping off at some beach clubs throughout the day to relax, refresh and have a bit of a bop.
To wrap up the day, we’ll be doing a surf lesson that’s perfect for beginners.
Day Ten – Siargao
Another day in paradise – getting our heart racing with a new activity! We’ll be spending the morning wakeboarding together, a great way to enjoy the water and have a laugh! In the afternoon, we’ll be getting Zen with a yoga class. The perfect way to wind down after an exciting day on the water!
Tonight we’ll grab a drink and enjoy the sunset together for one last time.
Day Eleven – Siargao
Time to say goodbye! Pack your bags, say your goodbyes, and shed a few tears for memories made along the way. This is the end of the amazing experience that is the Sunrise Philippines tour, and we’re so glad you came on this once in a lifetime journey with us!
